Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to introduce the new Special Issue ‘Preventative and Therapeutic Effects of Bioactive Dietary Nutrients on Human-Related Diseases’ to be published in the Journal Nutrients (IF: 6.076). This issue aims to collect the most updated and advanced research articles of high quality with a strong focus on the beneficial effects of bioactive dietary nutrients observed in human-related diseases. Research articles involving animal and/or cellular models with significant clinical implications are welcome. Bioactive dietary nutrients are derived from conventional food commodities, traditional Chinese herbs, and/ or processed food (e.g., fermented food). The scope of the study can range from cellular signaling and metabolism to physiology, genetics, anatomy, and microbiota in different systems. In view of the literature, bioactive dietary nutrients hold significant potential to combat diseases and help us live and age healthily. As front-line scientists promoting health, please do not hesitate to submit your research studies to us and share ideas to raise awareness among the public.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
