2016 | The 2015 Impact Factor was 3.759. Nutrients published its 2,000th paper. A new society, Asia Pacific Nutrigenomics Nutrigenetics Organisation (APNNO), became affiliated with Nutrients. |

Two new societies, The Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) and International Chair for Advanced Studies on Hydration (CIEAH), became affiliated with Nutrients. |
2019 | The 2018 Impact Factor was 4.171. Nutrients was ranked 16/86 (Q1) in the Category ‘Nutrition & Dietetics’ in SCIE. Nutrients held the first international conference Nutrients 2019 - Nutritional Advances in the Prevention and Management of Chronic Disease, in Barcelona, Spain, September 25‒27, 2019. The subject areas were refined to 13 sections. Two new societies, European Sport Nutrition Society (ESNS) and Spanish Society of Community Nutrition (SENC), became affiliated with Nutrients. |

Nutrients held the first electronic international conference - Nutritional and Microbiota Effects on Chronic Disease, November 2‒15, 2020. A new society, Spanish Nutrition Society (SEN), became affiliated with Nutrients. |
