Pre-term birth remains a significant global health challenge, with infants born prematurely often facing a multitude of health risks and developmental hurdles. Early nutrition plays a pivotal role in influencing their health and long-term developmental outcomes.
This Special Issue offers a platform for authors and researchers to contribute their groundbreaking work, share valuable insights, and shape the discourse surrounding early nutrition in pre-term infants, addressing topics such as the roles played by breast milk, fortification strategies, optimal nutrient composition, and the impacts of early dietary interventions on neurodevelopmental outcomes. We aim to bring together leading experts, healthcare professionals, and scholars from diverse disciplines to explore this critical intersection of neonatology, pediatrics, and developmental science.
We invite potential authors to contribute to this endeavor by submitting a manuscript, thus becoming a key contributor to this vital debate.
