Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Nutrition is always an intriguing and powerful topic, important to our everyday lives, health, and wellbeing of the entire global population. It is also the centre of scientific investigation and the professional mission for thousands of researchers dedicated to uncover the complex mysteries of a balanced, sustainable, and sufficient diet for everyone. The theme of the 14th European Nutrition Conference was “Food, Nutrition and Health: Translating Science into Practice”. Around this theme, the conference delivered a high-quality programme across plenary sessions, symposia, workshops, and oral and poster sessions specially oriented to early career researchers. The topics of this conference were broad, multidisciplinary, and offered opportunities for exchanging results and ideas through a wide variety of scientific areas.

This Special Issue welcomes the submission of all high-quality papers that were presented at this conference and were not previously been published in scientific journals and will cover the following topics: nutrition across the life course; nutrition, metabolism, and chronic diseases; dietary studies, guidelines, and recommendations; new technologies in nutrition research; personalized nutrition; nutrition and the environment, sustainability and biodiversity; food science; dietary bioactives; nutrition education, consumers, and practitioners; and cultural, societal, and behavioural aspects of diet and nutrition.
