Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Colorectal cancer is amongst the most burdensome cancers in the Western world due to its high rate of incidence, significant mortality level, and increasing survivorship.

About 1.4 million people are diagnosed with new cases of colorectal cancer worldwide every year. Colon cancer is more common in developed countries and is associated with lifestyle.

We aim to promote advances in early diagnosis and the development of treatment to improve the survival rate of these patients.

New treatment options for CRC require discussion, such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, transanal approaches, and neoadjuvant and total neoadjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

The topic of this Special Issue includes but is not limited to advances in early diagnosis CRC, advances in treatment CRC, and new treatment options for CRC.

We are soliciting original articles, research results, prospective and retrospective studies, and rare cases.
