Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Undeniably, logistics and supply chain management play huge roles within today’s globalized economy, as they support the movement and flow of goods, together with many economic transactions. According to the European Commission, the growing importance of global supply chains has fundamentally changed the way the economy and goods manufacturing are organized. However, the recent COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the vulnerability of the modern economy, disrupting many supply chains during the outbreak, and the subsequent economic recovery led to further pressure on the global supply system. Indisputably, supply chain resilience may improve through international cooperation, diversification, and the accelerated uptake of digital technologies.

The primary objective of 5th Olympus ICSC is to offer an international platform for the presentation and publication of the latest scientific research findings in the field of supply chain management. This conference provides valuable opportunities for the delegates to exchange innovative ideas, establish research and business connections, and foster global partnerships for potential collaboration.

Selected papers from the 5th International Conference on Supply Chain Management will be published in this Special Issue.
