Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Cancer remains one of the most formidable challenges to global health, with millions of new cases diagnosed annually. The dynamic nature of cancer pathology necessitates the continuous research and development of innovative therapeutic strategies. Therefore, the International Journal of Molecular Sciences is seeking submissions for a Special Issue entitled “The Discovery and Characterization of New Oncological Molecules”, which is dedicated to exploring groundbreaking molecular discoveries in the field of oncology.

This Special Issue aims to highlight novel molecules and their applications in cancer therapy, elucidating the latest advancements in molecular medicine that have the potential to revolutionize cancer treatment. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and short communications that focus on the discovery, characterization, and clinical application of novel oncological molecules. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, gene therapy, molecular mechanisms of action, drug delivery systems, and resistance to cancer therapy.

By presenting a collection of high-quality research articles, this Special Issue aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future directions of molecular oncology, offering valuable insights into the development of more effective and less toxic cancer treatments.

We invite researchers and academics from across the globe to contribute their work to this Special Issue. Via rigorous peer-review and rapid publication processes, we aim to disseminate cutting-edge research that will educate and inspire the scientific community, ultimately contributing to the advancement of molecular medicine in the battle against cancer.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. International Journal of Molecular Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. There is an Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal. For details about the APC please see here. Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
