Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue is the second edition of our previous Special Issue, titled “Nanomaterials in Nanobiotechnology and Nanomedicine”, in IJMS, in which we successfully published eight articles.
This Special Issue will focus on fundamental research with practical applications of nanomaterials. Within the wide variety of these materials, we are interested in their design, preparation, molecular characterization, potential toxicity, and applications in nanobiotechnology and nanomedicine.
Different types of nanomaterials plays multiple roles and have various applications, such as diagnosis, antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant, anti-inflammation, and antitumor activities, which are of practical interest. Also, nanomaterials can be used as sensor elements, drug delivery systems, or therapeutic agents to improve the health of humans or animals.
Dr. Hung-Yun Lin (from the National Taiwan Ocean University, Taiwan) is an experienced scientist who serves on the Topical Advisory Panel for IJMS, and is assisting in managing this Special Issue.
