Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The 2023 2nd Asia Power and Electrical Technology Conference (APET) will be held in Shanghai, China, during November 17–19, 2023. Organized by Tongji University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, and Chinese Academy of Sciences, with support from Shanghai University of Electric Power, Shanghai University, Donghua University, Fuzhou University, and Jilin Institute of Electrical Engineering, APET 2023 will feature contributed papers, keynote and invited talks, special sessions, as well as parallel oral and poster sessions.

APET aims to bring together an international community of researchers and practitioners in the field of power and electrical technology to present and discuss new research results and perspectives on future developments relevant to all areas of power and electrical technology, mainly including areas of power systems, smart grids, and electrical engineering and automation. The goal of the conference is to address challenges related to power and electrical technology, especially those faced throughout the world. This conference will also provide networking opportunities for establishing global collaborations toward developing suitable solutions for diverse applications and user groups in sustainable development. Selected peer-reviewed articles will be recommended for publication in the Special Issue ‘APET 2023-SEET II’ in the journal Energies (ISSN: 1996-1073), which is indexed in well-established databases/archives (SCIE, Ei Compendex, Scopus, etc.).

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Energies is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2600 CHF (Swiss Francs).
