Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Water resources have been experiencing significant stress do to impacts from climate change, resulting in supply related problems in many regions around the world. Recent research advances strongly suggest that climate change is expected to impact the magnitude and frequency of these extreme events and intensify the hydrological cycle.

The main objective of this special issue is to explore the current state-of-the-art in tools and/or practical application of knowledge and impact of climate change in water security and human health using tools using GIS processing and the decision support system (DSS) in general. The papers should focus mainly on interactions of climate and water security as well as potentials impacts on human health specially on larger urban centers. Novel research and case studies with applied knowledge are in the scope of this special issue.

Accepted papers will be published in continuous stream.
