Dear Colleagues,
Transition-metal-catalyzed reaction represents an important method towards the synthesis of structurally diverse organic compounds and has therefore attracted extensive attention from chemists in academic and industry. In particular, the development of green synthetic methodologies is of great significance due to the requirements of green chemistry. In this regard, numerous transformations involving radical chemistry, photocatalytic reactions, asymmetric catalysis, cycloisomerization, etc. have been achieved by employing effective transition-metal catalysts in a step- or atom-econonical manner over the past decades. Upon these progresses, the development of efficient and green transformations is still in high demand.
This Special Issue herein provides a platform for corresponding researchers to contribute their recent works concerning green organic synthesis and discuss the perspectives on challenges and future directions in this area.
