Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue focuses on the application of spectral analysis in alcoholic beverages. As the demand for fast and integrated analysis continues to grow, advancements in spectral analysis present great potential while also meeting green chemistry requirements. This Special Issue aims to provide a platform for cutting-edge research and innovation in spectral analysis concerning alcoholic beverages. The primary aims of this Special Issue are as follows:

  • The combination of spectral techniques.
  • The integration of results: assessing more than one parameter or providing a holistic approach in alcoholic beverage assessment.
  • Advancements in data processing and statistical analysis of spectra.
  • Modellization and parameter prediction aspects.
  • Robustness and reliability: emphasizing the importance of robust model development using validation and test datasets.
  • Emerging techniques and trends.
