Dear Colleagues,
I am thrilled to invite you to be part of a Special Issue of the Journal of Clinical Medicine (Impact Factor: 5.583), titled “Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia: Past and New Challenges”.
In this Special Issue, we will include original articles, case series, and review articles reporting on past and new challenges in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with CLL, which are relevant to every clinician and general internist.
These will include, but will not be limited to, the development and validation of novel prognostic and predictive factors, the treatment of elderly patients, the real world experience with the efficacy and safety of novel agents (such as ibrutinib, idelalisib, and venetoclax), and updated reports on CLL-related complications (such as infections, second cancers, autoimmunity, and extra-nodal involvement).
