Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Nuclear medicine functional and molecular imaging has undergone notable changes in recent decades thanks to the progress in equipment and technologies, as well as the use of new radiopharmaceuticals highlighting the increasingly defined metabolic and biomolecular changes in organs and systems. At the same time, these developments in imaging instrumentation and image analysis techniques have progressed with the use of artificial intelligence.

Over the years, the imaging of molecular interactions has played an increasingly important role in helping understand the pathophysiological mechanisms of diseases and this aspect is crucial, especially in the oncological field.

The aim of this Special Issue is to underline the most clinically innovative advances and applications of nuclear medicine in the oncological field and invite researchers to submit their papers covering novel developments and advancements in nuclear medicine oncology.
