Dear Colleagues,
The pentatricopeptide repeat (PPR) proteins are a very large family in plants and play an important role in the growth and development of plants. PPR protein can affect the expression of organelle genes and regulate chloroplast development, grain development and stress resistance. Studying the function of PPR protein not only provides new insights into the communication between nuclear encoded proteins and organelles, but also lays a foundation for the discovery or creation of new resistant germplasm in crops.
