Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Diet is undoubtedly one of the most powerful tools used to modulate people’s metabolism. Therefore, diet impacts people’s health and disease statuses. Thus, an adequate caloric intake and the consumption of different nutrients are essential to prevent many prevalent diseases, including cardiovascular ones, metabolic syndrome, obesity, dyslipidemia, cancers, and so on. On other hand, continuous and remarkable progress in metabolism research is being made every day, with the high-throughput and large-scale analyses of patients. According to this, the objective of this Topic is to bring together the most recent molecular evidence related the different aspects of diet and metabolism. We welcome reviews, original research, and perspective articles based on in silico, in vitro, and in vivo approaches. We look forward to receiving your contributions.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. International Journal of Molecular Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. There is an Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal. For details about the APC please see here. Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English.
