Dear Colleagues,
Organic synthesis is a special branch of chemical synthesis and is concerned with the intentional construction of organic compounds. Organic molecules are often more complex than inorganic compounds, and their synthesis has developed into one of the most important branches of organic chemistry. There are several main areas of research within the general area of organic synthesis: total synthesis, semisynthesis, and methodology.
This Special Issue will cover molecular advances including advanced bio-medicinal, optoelectronic, and light-triggered materials that are accessed, synthesized, and/or released by bio-organic, bio-mimetic, bio-enzymatic, light-triggered, bio-inorganic and green catalysis. Their rationalization and/or further demonstrations in bio-medicinal assays, AI calculation, materials applications, potential drug delivery (carriers or release), and potential pharmacophore are highly encouraged. The synthesis, properties’ characterization and application of materials should focus on biological or molecular research.
