Dear Colleagues,
Cerebrovascular disease is a group of conditions that affect blood flow and the blood vessels in the brain. Cerebrovascular disease includes stroke, carotid stenosis, vertebral stenosis and intracranial stenosis, aneurysms, and vascular malformations. Various conditions, risk factors, and disorders lead to cerebrovascular diseases, although the underlying molecular mechanisms remain enigmatic.
In this Special Issue, we aim to present new data obtained on the molecular mechanisms of cerebrovascular diseases. We also expect the discovery of new biomarkers and novel therapeutical targets. We welcomed the submission of review and original research articles (clinical or basic) regarding pathophysiology and the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.
