Reviewer 2 Report

The review presents the "Entomopathogenic Fungi: Interactions and Applications".

This article is interesting, useful, and well prepared and presents a great review of the the literature on  entomopathogenic fungi through the years, noting their mode of action, advantages, potential applications and prospect.

In this review, the authors focus on the technical logistics of mass production and formulation of fungal biopesticides. Is a very well documented study, as evidenced by the approximately 110 bibliographic citations.

In conclusions, this is a carefully done study and the findings are of considerable interest and it is recommended to publish it as a first from a series with incoming findings.

Yours sincerely,

Reviewer 3 Report

This is a summary covering EPF mode of action and their role in nature, with emphasis on pest management and potential plant benefits. Overall, I do not have an issue with the information presented. It is sound and to the point, as required by this Journal from my understanding. However, I have suggested that the structure change to an extent to improve readability. I also suggested the inclusion of one other reference and found a few spelling errors that the authors will want to correct. I have indicated these in the attached pdf document.

Reviewer 3 Report

Thank you for addressing my concerns. Reads much better. A few minor errors that you may want to address prior to publication:

L30: EFP should be EPF

L28: This is the first mention of entomopathogenic fungi so should be written in full as per line 32

Fig 1: Text in the light grey triangle is difficult to read.

L49: remove the word "an", this implies the singular, which is not written

L53: sp error "incoculated" to "inoculated"

L54: no need to state the authority of M. anisopliae again.

L76 + 192: Genus names should be written in full at the start of sentences

Page 3: Something wrong with the formating

L130: include ) after Gelechiidae

L131/132: H. armigera should be in italics

L270: change species name to lowercase "f"

References - still inconsistencies in style, but hopefully addressed with editing e.g. some journal titles are abbreviated others are not; sometimes paper titles use upper case letters throughout, whereas others do not.

Good luck!
