The chosen subject is very interesting and current. However, an analysis with concrete examples from both rural and urban environments is necessary.

The methodology needs to be explained > the working method, the way in which the income - savings relationship was achieved.

The questionnaires were applied to an optimally sized sample, but more details contained in a more clearly structured methodology are needed.

The article deals with the important problem of retirement savings of rural residents in China. An analysis of the factors determining the fact of having retirement savings, as well as their size and type, was undertaken.

As I understand the content of the article correctly, it is about voluntary savings. However, there is no information whether these are strictly private savings (pillar III) or also implemented as part of employee funds paid in part or perhaps entirely by employers (pillar II).

In my opinion, a very important factor influencing voluntary retirement savings is the assessment of the universal (state) pension system. The reader has learned nothing about this system in China. Who can use the state system (first pillar)? How does the system work? What is the average state pension and what percentage of the rural population benefits from this system? What impact does the low retirement age in China have on private saving? Without this information, the content of the article is not coherent, and the research results do not convince the reader that they fully reflect the actual picture of the described reality. The content of the article should be supplemented with the above-mentioned information.
