Introduction:

Need serious improvement on apsectects of flow to represent the problem and why solutions are much more important? The present form looks like point-wise information with many paragraphs. Kindly restricts to thee or hardly four paragraphs. Introduction starting with questions is good but should come in running text with flow?

line no. 106-07: Can you provide the density of Urochloa spp. or biomass per square metre? this will provide the information about study site?

Table 1. Identification (NI) of species planted under the different proportions (A equal and B une-122 qual trees per species) in facilitator stands (FS) and their successional stage (SS) classification: pio-123 neer (Pi), early secondary (Es)

Plz mention one more column representing English or trade names of the tree species

2.3. Data collection and analysis after 13 years:   Mention the year for data recording. this is Necessary. Is it single data sets after 13 years?

Results: Kindly mention the best-performing species based on quantitative parameters in traditional ways.

Discussion can be improved with a better interpretation of results.

A conclusion should be rewritten by mentioning policy and magerial implications.

A paper should be revised based on suggestions.

Need serious improvement on apsectects of flow to represent the problem and why solutions are much more important? The present form looks like point-wise information with many paragraphs. Kindly restricts to thee or hardly four paragraphs. Introduction starting with questions is good but should come in running text with flow?

The problems expressed in the introduction were about the high degree of anthropic humans of the study area, with the diversion of the Capivari river to the Cachoeira river that altered its flow, soil compaction due to buffalo farming and the cover of exotic grasses that prevent natural regeneration. This scenario in which the restoration plantings for which they are being evaluated were carried out.

Some adjustments have been made.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to inform the density or biomass of the exotic grass, since these were the conditions prior to the restoration, which is currently 13 years old.

Our translator did not find a reliable popular or commercial nomenclature in English for the studied species. However, the species and their universally used scientific nomenclature were reviewed, including in the field, by botanists responsible for the Herbarium at the Federal University of Paraná, whose coordinator is also the author of this article.

2.3. Data collection and analysis after 13 years:

Regarding data collection after 13 years, yes, these are unique data.

Results: Kindly mention the best-performing species based on quantitative parameters in traditional ways.

Results: the best performing species for the quantitative parameters are described in lines 186 to 189.

Line 74-77 = Only one sentence in this paragraph. Why?

Thanks! It was a typo. Originally, the paragraph from line 74 – 77 are next to the paragraph from line 78.

Line 94-95 = reference is required.

Suggestions addressed and answered. In this case, the pedology was identified “in loco” with the support of the soil management and conservation researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA), Brazil, Doctor Itamar Antonio Bognola.

Line 99 = Please provide sufficient explanation on the different blocks as research locations as mentioned in this figure.

Suggestions addressed and answered in lines 112 to 115.

Line 106-108 = reference is needed

Suggestions addressed and answered.

Line 117 = Please double check, is the total number of seeds planted 5200 seedlings or 5000 seedlings for 4 blocks?

Certainly, there are 5000 seedlings for the 4 blocks.

Line 285-292

Suggestions addressed and answered.

Line 300 = please explain it sufficiently what do you mean.
