Veterinary biomedical sciences is a branch of veterinary medicine, clustered with significant veterinary concepts from molecular to whole animal individuals. It is an interdiscipline between veterinary and biomedical sciences and devoted to animal and human wellbeing and understanding, preventing and treating disease. It interchanges the very cutting-edge knowledge and discovery to each community and mutually provides novel insights into respective field of research.

The section Veterinary Biomedical Sciences of the open access journal Veterinary Sciences (ISSN 2306-7381) focuses on a broad spectrum of biomedical research in the field of veterinary sciences, from basic to applied and from translational to clinical. Original, high-quality, multidisciplinary papers are encouraged, including but not limited to reviews, research articles, communications, and case reports. You are also welcome to consider developing Special Issues on current hot topics.
