Dear Colleagues,
As Editor-in-Chief of Metals, it is my pleasure to announce the winners of the 2020 Metals Travel Award:
Jae-Kyung Han, from Oregon State University, is a highly productive Ph.D. student who has been involved in several research projects related to the fabrication and characterization of bulk nanostructured metallic materials. He will attend and give an oral presentation at the symposium: “Ti-Alloys and Structural Metallic Materials for the Aerospace Industry” in THERMEC’2020.
Michele Dallago, from the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Trento. His research focuses on the mechanics of cellular materials and an investigation of the static and fatigue behavior of cast iron. He will present his two works concerning the fatigue properties of SLM lattice and the fatigue of cast iron in Fatigue2020.
Please join me in congratulating them for their achievements. Each Awardee will receive 800 Swiss Francs towards their participations in these international conferences.
