Dear Colleagues,
Membrane filtration, a well-established separation technology, has served as an essential solution in various domains. Due to the sustainability development goals, more industries will require advanced membrane processes or related coupled processes for achieving multiple environmental and economic benefits. There has been emerging innovative progress in advanced membrane applications, membrane coupling technology, membrane materials, membrane bioreactors, and membrane-based zero liquid discharge systems in recent years.
Therefore, this Special Issue on “Innovation in Membrane Coupling Technology for Wastewater Treatment” seeks contributions that provide innovative solutions for the design of membrane coupling process, the preparation of membrane materials, and the engineering applications of membrane-based wastewater treatment.
