Dear Colleagues,
Many researchers are devoted to the dissemination of new and original knowledge in all branches of plasma physics and chemistry. In order to collect new results on the topic, a Special Issue entitled “Plasma Technology: Interaction with Materials and its Effects” is being launched. This Special Issue will collect full papers and high-quality review papers mainly covering basic and applied research/results in the field both of laboratory and natural plasmas. The articles should concern fields including, but not limited to, activities ranging from controlled thermonuclear fusion to the physics of low-temperature plasmas, astrophysical and aerospace plasmas, plasma modification of materials, plasma diagnostics, and laser-induced plasma.
We kindly encourage colleagues involved in all branches of plasma physics and chemistry to make contributions to this Special Issue.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Materials is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
