It is our pleasure to announce that the 1st International Online Conference on Buildings [IOCBD 2023], chaired by Prof. Dr. David Arditi, will be held on https://iocbd2023.sciforum.net/ from 24 to 26 October 2023.
This conference aims to provide leading scientists working in the field of buildings with a robust common platform on which to share and discuss their latest research and to promote the advancement of this exciting and rapidly changing field. We hope to encourage discovery across the discipline as we cover the following five themes in sessions S1–S5, as listed below:
S1. Building Structures.
S2. Architectural Design, Urban Science, and Real Estate.
S3. Building Materials and Repair and Renovation.
S4. Building Energy, Physics, Environment, and Systems.
S5. Construction Management, and Computers and Digitization.
During the 3-day event, participants will have the opportunity to present short talks on their work and engage in stimulating discussions. Please submit your abstract before 26 June 2023 in the section “Submit Abstract” and do not miss this chance to win our Best Presentation Award (CHF 500). Authors will be selected to give an oral presentation of 10-12 minutes in a session or 5 minutes in a poster session. Authors also have the option to submit their proceeding paper after an abstract before 20 September 2023 to win the Best Paper Award (CHF 500). We are pleased to announce that the 4th International Electronic Conference on Applied Sciences (ASEC2023), chaired by Prof. Dr. Nunzio Cennamo, will be held on https://asec2023.sciforum.net/ from 27 October to 10 November 2023.
ASEC2023 offers you the opportunity to participate in this international, scholarly conference without any concerns of expenditures regarding travel—all you need is your computer and access to the Internet. We would like to invite you to “attend” this conference by presenting your latest work. There is no registration fee. This online conference will make your presentation accessible to hundreds of researchers worldwide, with the active engagement of the audience in question and answer sessions, in addition to discussion groups that will take place online.

Paper Submission Guidelines:
You will be able to submit an abstract first. After acceptance, you will be able to upload a proceedings paper (3–6 pages), a poster, a slides presentation (in PDF), or a short video presentation (max. 3–5 minutes) before the full submission deadline. All accepted proceedings papers will be published in one dedicated volume in the MDPI Proceedings journal Engineering Proceedings (SCOPUS Indexed; ISSN: 2673-4591). The publication of proceedings papers is free of charge. A conference Special Issue (upcoming) will be published in the open access journal Applied Sciences (Impact Factor:2.838). Conference participants are encouraged to submit a full paper to the dedicated Special Issue.
In addition, to acknowledge the support of the conference’s esteemed authors and recognize their outstanding scientific accomplishments, we are pleased to launch the Best Contribution Award and Best Student Award. The 16th International Symposium on Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry (16-ISABC) will be held in Ioannina, Greece from 11th to 14th June 2023, at the Karolos Papoulias Conference Center, University of Ioannina. The ISABC 2023 is under the auspices of the Epirus Regions, Municipality of Ioannina, University of Ioannina, European Chemical Society and the Association of Greek Chemists. The scientific program will include round tables that will be organized by the Hellenic Society of Medicinal Chemistry and Hellenic Society for Biomaterials. This is the 16th Symposium of the series and it will cover all branches of modern applied bioinorganic chemistry.
