Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we present this Special Issue of the Journal of Clinical Medicine entitled “New Trends in Cardiac Imaging”. The field of cardiac imaging has significantly evolved over the last decade, and its contribution to the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiovascular disease is nowadays essential. In multimodality imaging, each modality can provide its unique perspective to assess the characteristics and severity of a wide range of cardiovascular diseases, from valvular heart disease to heart failure, cardyomiopathies and ischemic heart disease.

In this Special Issue, we aim to collect manuscripts, original articles, as well as reviews focusing on the role of non-invasive cardiac imaging techniques (2D and 3D transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance, cardiac computed tomography and nuclear imaging) with novel practical implications for patient management across the vast landscape of cardiovascular disease. We are seeking your contributions to learn and expand the field of cardiac imaging together!
