- Discuss that migraine is only a phenotype it is caused my multiple genetic and neurochemical abnormalities (which is why there are no agents universally effective in migraine treatment
Why are migraines bad for you?
- Discuss pain and disability, but also comorbidities including cardiovascular and psychiatric ones
- Progression of migraine predicted by burden of migraine at the baseline
- Current acute medications; their uses and limitations
- Current preventive medications; their uses and limitations
- Agents that are being currently studied and their rationale
