Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue aims to shed light on the issues faced by patients suffering from myocardial infarction, explored via different cardiac imaging techniques and within different age classes. An in-depth understanding of the imaging aspects of myocardial infarction presentation, using new techniques both in cardiac magnetic resonance and cardiac CT, can help indicate the appropriate drug management, minimize complications and aid in faster recovery. The current Special Issue outlines state-of-the-art research, including translational and clinical work focusing on different aspects and various ages of presentation of myocardial infarction. Indeed, myocardial infarction may also occur at a young age in various clinical contexts. Using an appropriate imaging technique for patients may help achieve optimal clinical diagnosis. We are delighted to accept manuscripts of original research (including communications) focusing on imaging and clinical studies, and review articles on different myocardial infarction presentations, exploring new categories, gender differences and imaging characterization related to this field.
