Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The relationship between physical exercise and health is widely recognized. Regular physical exercise has numerous benefits for the body and mind, including reducing the risk of chronic diseases, strengthening the immune system, and mental well-being. As technology advances, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the context of physical exercise has the potential to revolutionize the way that people engage in physical exercise, improving its adherence, personalization, and effectiveness. In this Special Issue, we aim to explore the potential of artificial intelligence in physical exercise as a health-promoting tool. Its potential as a health-promoting tool is vast and promising. From monitoring and analyzing data to personalizing workouts, gamification, and injury prevention, AI is transforming the way that people engage in physical exercise, making it more accessible, effective, and motivating; however, it is crucial to address ethical challenges and ensure that these technologies are developed and implemented responsibly, prioritizing the privacy, equity, and well-being of users. With the continued advancement of technology, the future of AI-powered fitness is promising, offering unprecedented opportunities to improve the health and quality of life of individuals around the world.
