Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The increasing prevalence of overweight and obesity in childhood and adolescence is an international concern. Of particular concern is that overweight and obesity is associated with many other conditions including mental health, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and some cancers. Therefore, the design, development and implementation of successful therapeutic interventions that target overweight and obesity, and some of the commonly cited comorbidities, are of the utmost importance. This Special Issue, entitled ‘Preventive Health Interventions in Childhood Obesity and Mental Health’, welcomes original research articles, reviews, and meta-analyses on any subject related to childhood overweight, obesity and mental health.
