Dear Colleagues,
With this Special Issue, we want to invite researchers who apply the methods of experimental biology to studying carcinogenesis to submit their original papers as well as comprehensive reviews to stimulate debate, including outside of the mainstream theories. Is cancer a preventable disease? Are genetic factors essential for its development? Is inflammation a pro or a con of carcinogenesis? What do we know about the role of molecular mimicry in carcinogenesis? In how many ways might a vaccine prevent cancer development? These and other questions should stimulate authors during the preparation of their manuscripts.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Cancers is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
