The field of biomedical engineering has made significant strides in the development of 3D bioprinting techniques, which integrate 3D fabrication technologies with knowledge of biological tissue. The applications of 3D bioprinting cover the knowledge of biomaterial, scaffolds, tissue engineering, and 3D fabrication technologies that define the aim, scope, and focus of this Special Issue.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
