In this exploration of the recent advances in research related to pharmacy and food technology, we delve into the cutting-edge discoveries that are reshaping the landscape of healthcare, nutrition, and the intricate relationship between what we consume and how it impacts our bodies.

This upcoming Special Issue in Applied Sciences will focus on novel methodologies applied to pharmacy and food technology, such as advances in the field of encapsulation of bioactive compounds, drug delivery, and the design of new food products. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
