Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article has a particular topic, which the authors deal with both structurally and in terms of content in a clear and reasoned way.

At an introductory level, it is advisable to integrate, if present, a paragraph of literature review, or in any case the state of the art on the topic of the paper. I have not intercepted research hypotheses. I suggest at the end of the introductory paragraph, or in the methods to inserting them, based on the results obtained and the discussions carried out extensively in the paragraph results. I also suggest integrating the discussion with limitations paragraph, to give continuity and fluidity. I suggest integrating the conclusions and the references, which can certainly be integrated by adding the Literature review paragraph and adding references in the materials and methods.

Overall it is a good research work.

Reviewer 2 Report

Thanks to the editors for the opportunity to comment on the submitted article: „Body-related attentional bias in adolescents affected by idiopathic scoliosis“. The study focuses on an interesting problem and perspective.

I find the paper interesting and well-written. The paper is well-organizing and exposes clearly the research developed. However, I have a question/suggestion related to the abstract. In the abstract, I recommend clearly formulating methods which where used.

I recommend emphasizing more in the text what makes the study innovative and why it is/was necessary to solve this problem. It would also be appropriate to highlight for whom the results of the study are useful and for whom the results are a help - the main implementers of the results.

The authors work with appropriate literary sources (but can be extended!). The submitted text can be considered as a professional study and I recommend it for publication after modifications.
