Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This study explored the changing perceptions and driving factors among villagers regarding landscape values amidst significant landscape alterations in a traditional Chinese village. This is potentially a good article; however, this manuscript has some drawbacks, which require minor revision before publication.

1. In Introduction section, the authors should provide a more detailed overview of related research progress, such as the interplay between local residents' values and the local policy framework.

2. The clarity of Figure 3 is inadequate; please update it.

3. In tables, it is generally advisable to maintain two decimal places.

4. The conclusions Section is excessively lengthy; please relocate some content to the Discussion Section.
