Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

1. The author introduced an interesting and meaningful research topic. The author implemented a VR system for environmental education based on the virtual ecosystem model and presented two applications. The paper is well-organized.

2. The author may explain more on the methodology to influence students' attitudes and behaviors for environmental preservation.

3. The authors may consider VR for special needs education (such as the following reference) for a more comprehensive literature review. Serious Game for VR Road Crossing in Special Needs Education (DOI: 10.3390/electronics11162568)
