Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

1. Method: Needs an explanation, of how to relate the analytical techniques used to determine the relationship between human resources and environmental sustainability. Analysis techniques to conclude each variable used by the author should be raised

2. In this paper I have not found what the author expected at the beginning of this paper, namely the relationship between human resources and environmental sustainability. It is better for the writer to provide a scientific narrative from the strength of the research results. Need support from previous research. How strong is the relationship between human resources in efforts to maintain sustainable development?

3. In the discussion section, I still find the author's scientific contributions weak. It is better for each component discussed to bring out the author's original thoughts.

4. After I read the discussion of research results, the author revealed more about the results of statistical analysis and only the author's opinion.

5. The narrative expressed by the author is solely the result of his own thoughts, preferably the author's opinion needs support from the results of previous research. Does it support or reject or along with previous research? This comparison is a strength to state the relationship between human resources and the environment.

6. Overall the manuscript is acceptable, but any discussion of statistical analysis needs strengthening of scientific support. I did not find the scientific level of the results of this study. The author has not been able to explain any new findings in the article

Reviewer 2 Report

Thank you for the opportunity to review this paper. I think the paper is fairly interesting. However, I do have two comments for the authors to work on to improve the quality of their paper.

First, the SDGs are in a dire state due to poor and reversible progress from the pandemic. In fact, planetary health is at risk. This could be acknowledged, especially in light of the conversation ignited on the need to rethink how we are approaching sustainability, as seen in the article below:

The sustainability pyramid: A hierarchical approach to greater sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals with implications for marketing theory, practice, and public policy. Australasian Marketing Journal.

Second, the implications of the findings are rather brief. This needs to be substantially expanded, especially in relation to green human capital practices and in preparation for the future of work post pandemic, as indicated in the articles below.

Behaving green.. who takes the lead? The role of responsible leadership, psychological ownership, and green moral identity in motivating employees green behaviors. Global Business and Organizational Excellence.

Workforce management in the post‐pandemic era: Evidence from multinational companies using grounded theory. Global Business and Organizational Excellence.

Good luck and all the very best!
