Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper needs a minor revision, and the comments on the review are as follows.

1. According to the operation flow of the seeder, this paper puts forward the working condition which is more suitable to the actual situation, and carries on the accurate modeling to the battery module of the electric tractor.

2. In this paper, an energy management strategy of power consumption and power maintenance mode is proposed, which is improved by adding fuzzy control strategy to increase mileage and optimizing SOC correction factor.

3. Through the hardware-in-the-loop simulation test and field experiment , it is verified that this strategy has a significant effect on improving the mileage of the electric extended range tractor.

4. In Figure 6, the green line (Angle of entry 40°) is below the purple line (Angle of entry 35°) most of the time, but the conclusion is that the resistance is the lowest when the angle is 35°, whether other factors are taken into account.

5. The contour map Figure.8 may need to indicate the physical quantities and units represented by the data, and the Figure.17 may be misquoted.

Reviewer 2 Report

The energy management strategy of extended range electric tractors plays a very important role in intelligent agricultural machinery industry. Aiming at the power utilization rate of the unmanned electric tractor, a CD-CS strategy based on improved fuzzy rules is proposed in this paper. Hardware-in-the-loop simulation test is built and real vehicle verification is carried out. The research results have certain engineering and scientific value.

However. there are some aspects throughout the manuscript needed to be improved.

First, figure 2 shows that the driverless electric tractor unit is connected to a three-row corn seeder, while the abstract does not specifically indicate whether the seeding operation is applicable only to corn seeding.

Second, during the real vehicle test, the test process is expressed clearly and in detail. However, if the test environment is not specified, the road surface information should be determined.

Third, Line 161 cross reference 9 is formatted incorrectly.

On the basis of what has been mentioned above, I think the manuscript can be accepted for publication, unless minor revisions are made in the future.
