Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

n the abstract, the results must be presented in a single way.

In the introduction, the review of recent works must be presented deeply. Besides, the originality of the manuscript must be presented at the end of the introduction.

Experimental program

Why was the C40 concrete used? Were test specimens subject to compression test at 28 days to verify this property?

A figure of bamboo fiber is interesting. Besides, in table 2 more detailed description of the fiber characteristics is needed (tensile strength, Microstructural images). Why these two fibers' lengths were used? Previous works?

The amount of bamboo fiber was 1% in mass or volume?

Results and discussions

This section is too long, and the authors present the results descriptively. For readers, the increase in figures and tables is more interesting considering a better understanding.

Results and conclusions

Must be more concise, focusing on the most important aspects obtained from results.

Reviewer 2 Report

the authors present a very interesting work, which in my opinion can be
published, but e
xtensive editing of English language and style are
required; without this correction, the quality of this work is not sufficient
for publication.

starting with the abstract, the first and second line: no verbs..? it appears in the third sentence and in the next one - again no verbs.. the abstract sounds like conclusions, so there is no need to read this paper.? the point No 5 - it is about "nothing"/says nothing important or interesting, so what for is it? in the paper I found very often missing verbs, sentences without any meaning or some grammar errors.
