Active Control of Torsional Vibration during Mode Switching of Hybrid Powertrain Based on Adaptive Model Reference
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
I would thank the authors for this interesting paper on the active control of torsional vibration for HEV-EV vehicles.
The introduction part of the paper sounds also as a state-of-art. The paper is well written and well presented. Some typos are present and some sentences need a rewording.
In the introduction, you cited several methods for vibration control. Later in the paper, you presented the application of the MRAC method and its results. It would add great value to your paper a comparison - even with literature data - of other methods of control in order to establish if what you presented improves literature data.

Reviewer 2 Report
This paper deals with the active damping of torsional vibration during mode switching of parallel P2 hybrid power train which is based on model reference adaptive control. Although the topic is interesting it is also well researched. The novelty of the paper is not presented very well and it is not written in adequate quality, the model parameters are missing (no data of moments of inertia, friction coefficient, effective radius, number and pressure of clutch plates, and so on...). Therefore, in my opinion this manuscript (in this form) does not meet the requirement for publication in journal. The questions and suggestions are listed as follows:
1. The manuscript should improve its structure by considering an introduction with more recent and relevant literature review.
2. The model parameters should be provided, at least in one table.
3. Please express the contributions of the study more clearly and compare your results with other similar research.
4. Please add discussion to analyse the limitations of your research.
5. Please avoid using abbreviations in abstract.
6. Please define first appearance of abbreviation.
