Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript (agronomy-1881237) is well written and very relevant to the topic of climate change effects exert on chickpeas. However, some modifications to the manuscript should be made before the manuscript is published.

Please verify the color of the dot, lines 44 and 57.

Please remove the extra line, line 74.

Please reduce the font size of the entire table 1 and align to the left both columns. Also, please make sure that all the sentences start with a capital letter.

Please add a dot after the number three, line 135.

Lines 177, 180,182, and 189 a-amylase should be alfa(symbol)-amylase.

Line 200, please clarify, is silicic acid at the beginning of the line or salicylic acid that you wanted to write?

Please remove the extra space between improved and nodulation, line 208.

Please remove the extra space in indole-3-acetic acid, line 234.

Please remove the “(AMF)”, as you already used it before. Or only use the abbreviation. Line 269.

Please name all the nutrients and do not use the “etc.” Line 272.

Please be aware that the abbreviation PGPRs was already used before. See line 276. Is it essential to use the full abbreviation or can you only use the abbreviation PGPRs? Please use only one.

Line 281, Why do not use the abbreviation AMF instead of “AM fungi”?

In Figure 1, "Agrobacterium tumefaciens" seems to have an extra space between them. Please verify.

Please use italics in Agrobacterium tumefaciens, line 318.

Line 327, Cauliflower can be written without a capital letter.

In table 2, please use a small font letter in the whole table and align it to the left of both columns. Also, make sure that all the sentences start with a capital letter if possible. What is the meaning of two question marks at the “ICCV1 and ICCV6 [150]”?

Figure 2, the image quality is not good, please improve it. Also, make sure that all the species names are in italics in the caption. What is the meaning of the numbers on the graphics? Are the numbers in the graphics refer to the number of published papers? Please clarify. The “n” should be in italics.

There is a missing dot after the number four, line 376.

As you already said what RGA means, you do not need to write the full name, please see line 402.

Line 416, “e.g.” should be e.g., there is a comma missing.

Line 428, What is the meaning of “MAS”?

Lines 432 and 433, please use the symbol of degree before the temperature as  < -1.5 ºC instead of “<-1.50C”.
