Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors,

Article is well-written.

I would recommend to improve the introduction. Please, add a more detailed literature review, showing what is new in the present manuscript with respect to the findings available in literature. Authors must mandatory prove the novelty and the scientific relevance of their work.

You can consider:

A First Investigation of Agriculture Sector Perspectives on the Opportunities and Barriers for Agrivoltaics

Monofacial and Bifacial Micro PV Installation as Element of Energy Transition—The Case of Poland

Micro-Grid Solar Photovoltaic Systems for Rural Development and Sustainable Agriculture in Palestine

EVASOR, an Integrated Model to Manage Complex Irrigation Systems Energized by Photovoltaic Generators

Please answer the question: In what way this study could be put into practice and on what scale?
Please add raw data (for example output power) for existing PV installation

Line 414: Table 1. or Table 6.

Figure 5. What about data in range 0 – 12 kW

Line 536-538 Please explain

Minor comments:

Line 79, Line 80: Please improve the way of calling reference

Page 6: Please add reference for equations

Line 354: Please add reference

Equation no. 23 and 25: what is “x”?

There is twice 2-4 page (line 457-458)

Reviewer 2 Report

General Comments:

The manuscript presents an interesting study regarding a simulation model that enables the possibility of observing in real time the generated power from photovoltaic systems (called I-solar). The methodology and the study set-up are presented in a simple and efficient manner; the study presents convincing results that address the goal of the research. The manuscript is clear and easy to read, and the main ideas are well enunciated.

Specific Comments:

  • Figure 3 should be redrawn so as to make it easier to understand.
