Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The paper titled" Visible-Light-Driven GO/Rh-SrTiO3 Photocatalyst for Efficient 2 Overall Water Splitting" seems to be an interesting work, the author has given well-structured work but it still needs minor revision.

1- The Introduction can be improved by adding a recent related work to strengthen the idea of working. The author must write more detail about the STO and GO in related work which has been previously done and shown good performance

2- Some images and figures require an increase in resolution as the given figures and images are not clear to the readers.

3- The XRD analysis part needs to include more details about indexing, cell parameters, and space group with atomic positions as there are some peaks appearing in the figure that are not indexed. Also, it is better to show Rietveld refinement analysis which is showing accurate analysis and indexing of XRD peaks in addition that refinement parameters will show how the microstructural analysis follows. I recommend that the author must give XRD figure in a separate label and exclude it from figure 2.

4- TEM analysis must be well explained scientifically and supported by other references, the given explanation is not enough to clarify findings that appear in the given images.

4- The author must compare the obtained results of newly synthesized materials with previous ones from the performance side. Also, the author can show the potential of applying this new material and the challenges that this type is facing when applying it.

5- English language needs some minor corrections and requires proofreading.
