Abstract

- Minor injuries (dentoalveolar injuries and facial lacerations);
- Mandibular fractures (symphysis/parasymphysis, angle/body, condylar/subcondylar);
- Midface fractures (orbit, naso-orbito-ethmoidal [NOE], zygomatic complex/arch, LeFort I/II/III, maxilla);
- Skull base and cranial vault fractures (frontal bone and sinus).
- The surgical interventions were subdivided into:
- Suturing;
- Splinting;
- Closed reduction approaches (either intermaxillary fixation or Gillies approach);
- Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF).
