Deadline for manuscript submissions: closed (31 October 2023) | Viewed by 37178
Interests: disease screening and prevention; control of non-communicable diseases; organization of primary care
The 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has exerted a substantial impact on population health on a global scale. To ameliorate this pandemic, a high uptake rate of its vaccination is crucial. Government, physicians and family members have previously been shown as influential stakeholders to enhance vaccine uptake, but in many countries, the proportion of people who have received the vaccine remains suboptimal.
In this Special Issue of Vaccines, we are interested in publishing original articles, reviews, and commentaries focusing on the following topics:
- Hesitancy of COVID-19 vaccine and its underlying reasons;
- Uptake rate of COVID-19 vaccine in special populations;
- Interventions that could enhance COVID-19 uptake;
- Public health policies on COVID-19 and their effectiveness in relation to social distancing;
- Other issues pertinent to COVID-19 uptake
