Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In the previous Special Issue, we have received fruitfully scientif works on the biochar and bioslurry application, evaluating their potential role in a sustainable agriculture and the circular economy at large.  We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to researchers and experts in the field of sustainable agriculture and environmental sciences to contribute to the second special issue of the Journal of Sustainability. This special issue aims to showcase the latest advancements and breakthroughs in the utilization of biochar and bioslurry, highlighting their vital roles in promoting sustainable practices in agriculture and environmental management. Unlocking the full potential of biochar and bioslurry presents an opportunity for significant advancements in carbon-negative practices within the realms of food and energy production. However, it is crucial to address the current knowledge gaps surrounding their advantages, warranting dedicated attention to their integration within the circular economy, spanning agricultural, industrial, energy, and hydrological sectors. We enthusiastically invite original scientific articles from all corners of the globe, covering a diverse array of applications related to biochar and bioslurry utilization
