Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The advent of the big data era has brought great changes to global economic and social development. With the continuous innovation of information technology, information management and information systems have been updated and improved to varying degrees. The diversity and complexity of big data management and information systems also affect our research and understanding of socio-economic-political systems.  In order to adapt to the changes in the era of big data, people's cognition of data is also improving. In the 1990s, scholars began to study big data management and information systems in order to continuously give corresponding decision-making and management opinions in the process of group decision making and supply chain management and make contributions to social development.

Therefore, for sustainable development, more and more enterprises pay more and more attention to the construction of big data management and information system. By improving the management and analysis of data and information, they have achieved important benefits in ensuring consensus, reducing costs, improving efficiency and controlling risks. The goal is to further integrate sustainability into enterprise group decision making, strategic management and risk management; combine it with safety, quality and internal control construction; explore enterprise operation and management innovation and reform and industry development reform with big data management and information system innovation and reform; and build an ecosystem composed of customers, enterprises and decision makers. At present, a safe, stable and sustainable big data and information system is not only positioned as the core competitiveness of enterprise development but has also gradually evolved into the key to the sustainable development of the industrial chain.

The topics to be discussed will include identifying management factors for sustainable supply chain development to promote innovative development of sustainable supply chain systems, such as carbon footprint and emissions, waste, air pollution, big data, cost management, agricultural supply chain, supply chain finance, etc.

In this Special Issue, original research articles and reviews are welcome. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Big data analysis technology in decision system;
  • Combination of big data mining method and decision-making method;
  • Combination of intelligent algorithm and decision system;
  • Intelligent decision based on big data;
  • Supply chain management based on big data;
  • Supply chain risk management based on big data analysis;
  • Evaluation index system and method in the information system.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
