Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Sustainable enterprises play an important role in realizing a circular economy. Sustainable enterprise is committed to implementing sustainability principles into its business decisions, operations, and supply chains to offer green products or services. They innovate and implement new business strategies and activities that promote sustainable development by simultaneously delivering economic, social, and environmental benefits. Sustainable enterprises involve resource optimization, energy conservation, waste prevention, and pollution control, contributing to the transition towards a circular economy. Considering the importance of sustainable enterprises for the circular economy, we propose a Special Issue in the journal Sustainability that highlights the knowledge, policy, and practice regarding sustainable enterprises under a circular economy. The editorial team welcomes academics and practitioners to submit papers that contribute to both knowledge and policy.

This Special Issue will accept submissions in all areas of sustainable enterprises, but special consideration will be given to the following topics:

  • Evolution of sustainable enterprise development;
