Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to contribute to our journal’s Special Issue on “Agroforestry Engineering and Sustainability”. Based on your experience and significant contributions in this field, we believe that your research would be valuable to this Special Issue. Original studies that seek to uncover cutting-edge knowledge in forestry and agricultural engineering are welcome. Research articles, review articles, and short communications are encouraged.
These should address how agricultural and forestry engineering plays a fundamental role in sustainable development, demonstrating how it addresses current challenges related to the engineering of biosystems and the sustainable conservation of natural resources. Special contributions will serve to present technological and methodological advances in construction engineering, hydraulic engineering, environmental engineering, agricultural and forestry machinery, natural resource management policies, renewable energies, artificial intelligence, and other engineering applications that contribute to environmental, economic, and social sustainability.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Sustainability is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
